The Ghana Education Service, Abrem Agona Circuit, has officially released the list of nominees for the Teachers’ Awards 2025, scheduled for Tuesday, 22nd July 2025 at the Catholic Church, Abrem Agona. The event, which starts at 10:00 AM, is themed “Inspiring Excellence in Teaching for Sustainable Educational Growth.”
This year’s awards focus on celebrating outstanding teachers who have demonstrated commitment, creativity, and a deep sense of duty in shaping the future of education in the circuit. Teachers who applied for the awards in October 2024 have been carefully shortlisted, with past winners excluded to pave the way for fresh recognitions.
The Selection Process
Nominees will undergo a thorough work inspection at their respective schools. This includes evaluating:
- Teaching quality and classroom management
- Use of teaching aids
- Contributions to school improvement
- Involvement in the wider community
Colleague teachers will also provide feedback on each nominee’s work ethic, teamwork, and positive impact.
Additionally, a short video profile capturing each nominee’s achievements and innovations will be produced and showcased during the awards ceremony.
