Rising Leaders: Ayensudo AME Zion Basic School’s Maiden Prefect Induction Ceremony, 2024

On July 22, 2024, Ayensudo AME Zion Basic School held its maiden induction ceremony for the newly elected prefects. The event took place at the school premises and was a significant occasion marking the beginning of a new leadership era within the school.

The ceremony was graced by various dignitaries and special guests, including the School Management Committee (SMC) Chairman, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Chairman, and invited parents who came to support and celebrate the achievements of the students. The 2024 batch of old students also made their presence felt, showing solidarity with the current students and sharing in the joyous occasion.

A highlight of the ceremony was the attendance of Mr. Yakubu Martin, the Assistant Headteacher, who stood in for the Headmistress, Elizabeth Techie-Menson. Mr. Martin’s presence and speech were greatly appreciated as he encouraged the newly inducted prefects to lead with integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
