NTC Again: New Updates on Teacher Portal Ghana(TPG) Platform; Take note before May 10.

Introduction:

The National Teaching Council is mandated by the Education Regulatory Bodies Act 2020 (ACT 1023) to regulate the teaching profession in Ghana. As part of the Council’s regulatory functions, it is mandated to conduct examinations for licensing of people who desire to teach.

The mandated body in the past days notified the general teaching public the following new updates and developments on the Teacher Portal Ghana.


School Based Inset (SBI), and Department Based Inset (DSI) on the TPC platform will be changed to Professional Learning Communities (PLCS). CPD Days shall be organized once each term or three times in a year. This change will be implemented from 1st May 2024 and aims to align the platform with current educational practices and standards.
